BENTLEY MOTORS - CONTENT CREATOR, MOTION DESIGNER, EDITOR
Over the course of several years I worked in a content creation capacity for Bentley. I was involved in shooting, editing and delivering social films to support larger brand content, reworking of existing content for marketing purposes, idea generation for future brand content, day to day social media content creation and even the tease campaign for the launch of the Bentayga. I shot films on site in the factory, on location at the 24hrs of Spa in Belgium, and from the roof of The Torch, a 90 storey building in the Dubai Marina.

The Story of the Stitch

Logo Sting Animation
Probably the most seen piece of content I worked on for Bentley. This logo sting appears at the end of every film they produce and is still being used today. The brief was to take the old version of the sting and bring it up to date without changing the essence of it. Subtle tweaks such as the way the typography reveals and the draw out animation of the line work were used to achieve this.
Bentayga Tease 001
The first film in the Bentayga tease campaign was to reveal some of the key lines and shapes of the car without giving too much away. Set in a light tunnel, the finishing part of the production line for any vehicle, the car was to appear made of glass with only reflections to give away the shape.
Bentayga Tease 002
The second film in the Bentayga tease campaign was all about texture and craftsmanship. A double exposure technique was used to combine footage of the engineers at work with 3D renders of the vehicle, again, without giving away too much of the form. Dust effects were added using X-Particles and Turbulence FD.
Bentayga Tease 003
The third and final Bentayga tease film was focused on the technology within the vehicle. My job here was to model, rig and animate a 3D stag, done in Cinema 4D, that is would be used to show the updated radar object detection for night time driving. This gives the driver a warning if there is something potentially in the road beyond the view of the headlights.
