EXTRAPOLATIONS - SENIOR MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

This show is set in the near future and as a result the functional technology was designed to be close to what we think will exist before too long. There were all kinds of augmented reality elements and a lot of holographic interfaces that were designed and animated for the show. The main part of my role was to develop a specific look for an effect in the show called 'Memory Decay' where the recordings of a character's memory were starting to fade as he no longer could afford to pay for the service. It was a very tricky thing to get right as it was a procedural  effect but it needed to be curated on a shot by shot basis.
